An honest and qualified servier in NE Florida

Hey all, I'm on the hunt for an honest and qualified RV service technician in Northeast Florida (Jacksonville or therabouts).

I've either had or read about terrible experiences with Camping World, Dick Gore's RV World and General RV. I feel like I'm dealing with the car repair shops of 1979 where getting ripped-off was more common than being taken care of.

Can anybody offer a recommendation?

depends on what type of 'service' you are asking about, as most any diesel shop can handle your 'oil service', etc., and most anyone can handle the Ford servicing... if you're asking about 'RV' repair/service, including the 'house', then RV shops and dealers are typically the place to 'go'... though it can really be a crap shoot as to which ones have the knowledge, experience, and people to handle it...depending on it's depth.

What is your specific 'servicing' need?

Need to get the entire windshield wiper system replaced

I need to have the entire windshield wiper system replaced. It was subject to the recall but "tightening some nuts" didn't do the trick. After three passes of the blades, the driver side blade pins itself to the left edge of the glass and the passenger side blade swings down to the 6 o'clock position. Yes, it really does point straight down and on top of the hood.

seems that would be a very easy and quick project for any type of vehicle shop, I wouldn't worry about whether they have anything to do with RVs or not... basic wiper system mechanics are not any different from a regular vehicle.

I live in the Daytona area and I am bringing mine into Robbins Camping sales in Ormond Beach tomorrow . It was recommended. I will let you know how it goes.

It does not help for your wiper system but it sure would be nice to know where the honest places are.
