Door damage

Recently hit a low post while refueling. Body shop is having trouble separating the aluminum skin from the inner door. Anyone with experience in this? I've checked with Thor and they can send a replacement, but not sure I want to do that. Any suggestions appreciated.Click image for larger version

Well I would think the body shop would know what to do a whole lot more than people on here. Might just have to cut it out and weld a patch in place.

Very "specialty part" here. If it were me, I'd order a new one from Thor and be done with the unknown of body shop exploration.

Thanks for replying. The body shop suggested a new door, painted to match. I've been in touch with the dealer and Thor, waiting to hear from them. I was just wondering if someone had experience in separating the door panels. Luckily they were able to repair the other door. Thanks
