High pitched whine in AC unit

I have developed a high pitched whine that is intermittent from the AC unit (Coleman). It is coming from the unit, but otherwise seems to be working fine. Anyone with any thoughts? Is it belt driven?

Did you remember to let the squirrels out, before firing it up?

Sorry...
They're not belt driven, but you might have a bearing in it, that's not too happy.

AC

My old 2005 Pace Arrow did that and found the motors bearing bad,had to replace both motors ,it had 2 ac units. I traded it for my 34P 2017.
How old is the unit and how much do you use them?

It might be airflow related. Adjust the vents to see if it makes a difference. If too many vents are closed the air will force its way thru and might make a whining or whistling noise.

thanks for the replies so far! 2013. It is with a buddy of course, so I can't troubleshoot myself- will pass the vent idea along.

My first guess, only a long distance guess, is a bearing is going bad, probably in the condenser fan. If that's the case, its a not too difficult repairable problem.
