Electrical junction box broke loose

About 20 miles from home following the first overnighter in our 2019 Vegas the electrical junction box between the generator and cabin broke away from its mounting point on the generator frame.

The box has 4 mounting points, 2 of which were screwed into the generator frame. There is 3/4 in conduit going into 1end with 1/2 in. On the other end.

The conduit was not supported at all, nor were the other 2 mounting holes on the box. You should be able to tell from the pic that it was hanging only a few inches off the ground and it did have some scrape marks from hitting the road.

To fix I used metal conduit hangars and attached the conduit to the chassis frame. To support the box I used 3m moulding tape (used for body side moulding on vehicles) and stuck the box to the chassis frame.

Even if the tape fails, the box or the conduit won’t go anywhere because of the hangars.

Attempting to attach pics. I can get them to upload but then the window never closes?

Open that box and check the wires. Also check the wire nuts. Several people including me had loose connections with arching
