Entry door won't latch tight

Recently purchased a 2019 Four Winds 31E Motorhome. The door will not latch tightly. Does anyone know if there is a way to adjust the bolt or latching mechanism so it closes completely?

Rattles like crazy when driving. I can take it back to the dealership for an adjustment but if it is an easy fix I will do it before our maiden voyage this weekend. Thank you!

I noticed on mine i have to "lightly" slam the door sometimes. Its like a two stage latch? The first one is too loose and rattles.

How hard do you close the door.

I agree... you have to put just a little bit of weight behind the "nudge", to get it to latch up securely.
If I'm not careful: mine will have a 1/8" gap...

I felt that I was giving a good slam shut, but I will give it another try tonight. Thank you.

The striker plate on the door frame should be very adjustable, big Phillip's screwdriver is all you'll need.
