Exit step issues

My wife and I bought a 2013 Thor Palazzo 33.2 2 years ago with only 5200 miles on it. So far I love the chassis but the coach itself has lots of problems. Currently our electric step is trying to pull through the floor its pulled the screws through the sill plate and is no longer level, and the plastic (basement) storage wall has pulled away from the steps in the same area. Not sure what to do about it yet. This is on top of 2 cabinet doors falling off, the sliding bedroom door falling off while driving, the skylight in the shower was leaking from the roof, the awning arm toward the rear of the coach broke and would not roll in, and now sometimes the inverter will turn on and sometimes it wont. the awning arm, skylight and cabinet doors were fixed under extended warranty the rest has happened in the last couple months. So yeah not impressed at all.

Welcome to the world of RVing!

Some time back, a poster said we all bought a "RV Kit" and not just an RV. New or used, there are always repairs, big and little with any RV.

Low miles on an RV doesn't mean the same thing that it does on a automobile. Your 2013 coach is about 5 years old now, and will require some continuing maintenance, some of which no warranty will cover.

Not defending defects here, just saying there are many fail points with any RV. Roof leaks are among the worst. If you aren't handy, or willing or able to learn, you need to find a RV tech you can trust. Some just admit defeat and find a different way to travel!
