Exterior Wall Rot

This morning I walked outside to find the end cap had fallen off the bottom of my class C front wall. On closer examination, the plywood had completely delaminated. It really looks like Thor saved some money by using interior grade plywood. What to do? My 1 yr warranty is expired. How do I prevent further rotting?

Call Thor and see if you can force a fix if your warranty isn't too expired. This is/was a known issue and many had them repaired with approval. Lots of threads here on how others did a DIY with pressing glue and adhesives in there and using clamps, etc. But...call Thor first.

I agree... it can't hurt to try, and it could save you a lot of money and elbow grease...
Good luck!

I suggest that you remove the upholstered panels covering these wing walls on the inside for a look-see.... to see if it's just an edge condition or throughout
On mine the buttons are simple snaps with matching upholstery wrap, so they just snap off...pry off with a screwdriver...to reveal a screw zip out the few screws and it comes right off.
I had a leak from above..on the roof...that caused mine to do this. My whole wall wasn't gone but there was rather large rotted areas in it. Surprised me too because I never smelled any musty or damp odors at all...and i feel sure it was rotting since before I even bought the thing.

Thanks for the suggestion. Thor team contacted me. Repair is under consideration. That's a great start!
