Fixing Mouse holes in Hurricane 29M

I found that mice had made a pathway into the living space from outside. They had removed the Gray foam that had filled the hole between the rear dinette seat and the battery box, where the HDMI and some other orange cable came up thru, leaving bits of foam everywhere.
I made a steel hole cover for the bottom and an aluminum one for the top, then installed the bottom, put a good bit of ground cayenne pepper in the area, then foamed it in with Great Stuff, put more cayenne on top and installed the top plate.
Also filled the hole from the same basic location into the 2nd Passenger side storage hold (where the black and gray water tanks come across) with steel wool and cayenne pepper, foamed from the top and installed a cardboard top, then foamed in the bottom with a cardboard bottom.
Maybe this has these two locations shut for a good while.

Photos attached.

Still need to get some Peppermint Oil.

Never thought that mice would take out the grey foam. Good job, hopefully it will keep the critters out.

D, What is the difference between the Windsport 29M and the Hurricane 29m? Interior finishes?
What I saw on the Thor site, it seems the floor plan is the same.

You are correct, floor plans and mechanicals are the same, only colors and interior finishes are different. Same great coach just different names and colors.

Peppermint oil works great also... on the OUTSIDE portion of your repair!

I place a pouch of moth balls inside each compartment that has access into the coach such as drain compartment, electrical, battery, etc. I also place one in the engine compartment. I have never had a mouse in the coach.
