Fresh water drain valve?

Forgive my neophyte ignorance, but pray tell, where might I find the fresh water tank drain valve on the Thor Gemini?

Sometimes your low point drain will be co located with the fresh water tank ......if you know where that is located......but like all things in life.....no guarantees. Attaching response for a 2011 Chateau (post #2) or a 2009 Majestic (on post #4) only because sometimes coaches of a similar vintage keep some things the same or similar. A few years newer and maybe a different floor plan may make this info worthless for you.

Meant to say fresh tank drain (not low point drain) might be co located with fresh water tank. My bad.

Fresh water drain valve?

I’m having a similar issue.... just picked up a 2020 Magnitude SV34. I was so concerned with looking for issues during the PDI and I overlooked the simple stuff.... and where the fresh water drain valve is located.

I’ve been all over and under the coach.... especially beneath the coach where the water tank is located under the bed. Can’t find a drain valve anywhere.

We were trying to find the Low Point Drain for a long time during the PFI. There was a decal that said Low Point Train and we couldn’t find it..... till we realized the Low Point Drain is actually the outdoor shower..... it’s the lowest point in the coach.

Any one have a Magnitude or Super C and can let me know where their drain is located? My guess I will have to lift up the mattress / bed frame to find it there.

If that’s the case, I’ll be installing an electric valve so I can flip a switch to drain the fresh water. We empty after every trip so it would be a pain to remove the bed everytime.

We have a super C. The fresh water drain is in the storage compartment under the bedroom slide. I don’t know if that will help since our model is not the same.

Thank for the reply... found it well out of sight behind a wooden louver panel under my stove.
That tip helped me trace backwards and locate it. Much appreciated!

All drain valves with the exception of the hot water heater which has a petcock, drain through either a blue or red plastic hose to under the coach.

Look under your coach, see the pretty colored hose ends. Open the compartment from which they come and let your eyes behold the most wonderful sight. DRAINVALVES.

If you want to know where something is you can ask or you can look.

Under the bed

On our gemini the valves were left open on delivery, so the pump was sucking air. I removed the bed frame (5-6 screws, not too bad) and found the valves 2 near the water pump rear end on water tank.

I just use the pump to empty the system, and then pump antifreeze to wonterize.

Fresh water drain.

I think it depends on the year. Mine is a 2017, the valve on it is located in the gray/black water dump access. There is a pex line running through there with a shut off in the line. Mine was partially plugged so I used my air compressor to blow it clear. Works well and quickly now.

I have a Thor Four Winds 2019. My fresh water tank is located under the forward seat in the dinnete. My drain valve is under the seat. I had to remove all the scres that hold the plywood down so that I could get to it. Hope this will help

Gemini fresh water drain is either located next to the water pump in the rear storage and behind the panel on the left side. Remove a couple screws and stick your finger in the little hole and pull, or depending on the year it may be in the wet bay high and to the right.

The real question is why doesn’t Thor provide us with a detailed owner’s manual instead of the useless generic booklet?

Thor Compass owner here.
