Make sure your propane tank valve is open. Light your stove top burners. When all are lit, turn them all off. Then switch fridge to auto. With no shore power, fridge should light up with both lights on. After a short time, if the yellow light is not blinking, your good to go. I have a Thor 2018 29M hurricane.

Fridge

Why is it that the fridge has problems on propane at higher elevations and is there something that I can do about it. I live in Colorado so most camping is higher elevation.

Unless you can change the atmospheric pressure: you still have to work within known laws of Physics and Nature...
But I do think that there are some adjustments that can made to the system; that'll help with your thinner air...

Fridge

That is my question. What can I do to make it operate better at high altitude.

An earlier respondent mentioned "it's in the manual". There must be some sort of manual adjustment to the flame like there is on most gas burners to get the nice blue flame by adjusting the amount of air entering the burner. In other words adjusting the mixture.

On my coach the RV frig 12 volt power comes from the unfused circuit witch also powers the propane detector. The frig circuit board has its own 5 amp fuse and is not routed through the use/store switch.

The book answer is run the generator when not on shore power.

On mine the store switch kills everything including the gas detector.
