Frustrated in Ohio~Vegas won’t start

Our 2014 Vegas will not start and it’s at a dealership! We took our Vegas to Buckeye Rv in Jeffersonville, Ohio for a new brake assist and routine inspection:
After installing the blue ox patriot system and 2 new house batteries and a fuse, serviceman said it will not start there is a problem with the chassis: Said it was nothing he done. It only has 110;000 miles. Dash cluster panel shows all errors. The odometer reads all dashes: I made a call to Thor who told me to call the Ford place they use. That service guy told us how to reset the engine immobilizer. Still nothing. Do you think we can get someone there to look at it or will have to have it towed? Does anyone think the brake installation could have done this? The warranty just expired....Thank in advance

If it was running properly when you pulled it in the shop, and their service technician didn't do it: do you think that BigFoot is the one who busted something?
If it's "popping codes" like that: he had to have done something to it.
Be insistent, and make sure that his work is double-checked.
Good luck!

I would seriously doubt that this is a coincidence that the chassis electrics freaked out right after Buckeye RV did a bunch of electrical work on the rv....

You drove it in and you should be able to drive it out , they screwed up and I would explain it to them just like that.
The second that you take any ownership of this they will step back and you will own the problem.

I'm sure they are a state licensed repair facility so if they don't agree to fix their screw up a call to the Ohio D.O.T may be in order.
Second call would be to a lawyer.

I MISTEXT......ONLY 10,000 MILES (not 110,00)
Buckeye RV know nothing about servicing the chassis
I’m finding out most Camper dealerships (including Camping World) send chassis work out. We have a local Ford dealership, but will be surprised to back us saying it was Buckeye RV fault.

Does this dealership have a diagnostics system? If they do it should indicate where the elec. problem is.

At this point, IMO, you need to have Ford do the diagnostics and tell you what has failed. Then you have to have them determine possible causes, as to whether or not the work the RV dealer did could have caused the problem. Get as much in writing as possible, just in case.

Here is a story and still trying to find out the problem. I had the chassis battery die on me, Ford replaced it and I install the new battery with a battery disconnect switch. Started up the Vegas 24.1 everything appears to be fine. Killed the engine engaged the battery disconnect, the Vegas started right up. Total disconnect the new battery and the Vegas started. Now I put the house batteries on STORE, still started.
Any Ideas how this Ford V10 is starting, oh, the 100 amp breaker was thrown to get it out of the circuit. ???

I agree, was running smoothly....now it’s kaput, and still on their lot. VKB, they Do Not have a diagnostic capabilities. Now; we may have to have it towed to a Ford dealership
I am keeping notes when I call them, Ford or Thor.
What a learning experience! Here are some things to share...
Very few camper/mh service centers can work on the chassis.
Change fuses; yes. Diagnostics, no. I have called 2 CampingWorld dealerships and 2 independent dealers in Ohio.
They ALL boast guarantees & satisfaction on their service.
Some have even given me the names of their Ford people they use. Buckeye RV has not. They are still very new...I guess

I would check the house 12v systems, if they don’t work then the tech probably hooked batteries up wrong the first time and fried the system. Sorry for your troubles and hope you can get your coach fixed quickly.

Blue Ox system spliced into the chassis wiring harness? Check the connections.
