Window leak on new Chateau

Hello, this is our very first posting. We purchase 5 months ago our first RV, a class C Chateau. We are clueless but learning along.

RV is stored outside in southern Florida. We had the first big rain shower since ownership yesterday and husband went to checkup on RV this morning and found water on the frame in the 2 windows in the bedroom, where you would slide the glass to open the window. The windows have a rubber frame on the outside. We do no see any tears or damage in the rubber. Thor told me to add silicone sealant. But where ???? Between the rubber and fiberglass ?? Or somehow under the rubber frame ?

Any good videos on how to do this ? Any suggestions on product ?

Also, the large window in the dining area has a bit of water dripping from the frame edge. Again, what to do in this case?

The dealer scheduled us in 3 weeks. And that is after begging for a faster appointment.

Thank you

Welcome to our little corner of the sandbox!
Question: Are there drain channels or holes in the "sliding portion" of the frame?

Perhaps they got blocked somehow...

Husband says he saw small holes at the bottom of the frame. RV is brand new and we never cleaned them - we never even noticed they existed

We will try cleaning them. How about the silicone sealant, how is that applied ?

Don't let any sealant get within spitting distance of the drain holes...
(True story...)
Back in 1988: I bought a full-sized Chevy Blazer. It was a great vehicle, but the roof leaked!
After many trips to the dealership for sealing, resealing, and I think an exorcism: it turned out that the drain holes had been filled with silicon sealant by a "joker" at the factory...
This vehicle had been built right before a strike at the plant...

We cleaned those holes out, and everything stayed dry!

If it is a new coach and under warranty I would not mess with the sealant. Let your dealer do it. There could be other issues you do not recognize.

Remember, water travels...I had what I thought were window leaks but eventually figured out I had roof leaks on the the rear roof seam and around one of my vent fans. (The water appeared on our rear window and rear side window.). It was an easy fix with flex seal and saved a trip to the dealer. It might not be your issue but it wouldn’t hurt to make a visual inspection on your roof. Good luck!
