Fuse ?

Moved Pallazo 33.2 2015 around in the driveway after letting engine run and get temp up. Moved it around to get one side out of the sun so that I could put a fresh coat of wax. After finishing I parked it in it's spot. Naturally I heard the usual fans running , purging of def lines. 3 hours later while in driveway I could hear a fan still running. Tracked it down and it is a fan in the inverter bay , I had to unplug the fuse if that is what it is to get fan to stop.
Anybody know what this is.
Any help is appreciated , thanks.

Looks like a diode or temperature sensor.

It's a fan thermostat or "thermo switch".

Thanks Gritz , it's on the way. Any ideas on best way to keep electrical bay clean. The bay is behind the rear wheels and get very dirty , I don't want to spray with water hose.

If my inverter's fan continues to run for what I believe is too long, or for little reason, I simply touch the sensor with a piece of ice, which almost immediately turns it off, never to come back on.

I'm not sure, but it feels as though these sensors don't always kick OFF as they should, for whatever reason. The fan is basically the factory's way to help rid the inverter bay of extra heat that could effect the Inverter's operation. But, when the fan continues to run for seemingly no reason, hours later, it makes me think that the sensor is not operating correctly, but I guess better to run the fan, than not.

Some rigs are experiencing the opposite problem - their factory did not install any type of cooling fan, and they have issues with overheating in the inverter's bay.

Thanks I will try the ice trick today. It has been very hot here, low 90's. Is it possible that the dust and dirt in the bay is having an effect on thermal switch.?
