Step well not working

I have a 2017 Venetian A40 still under warranty. I had just gotten some repairs done at a facilty 160 miles from home. I drove 75 miles to get fuel. Step well retracted. After refueling the step well would not raise all the way up. I checked for any obstructions but none found. One of the motors for the step well is not working. The motor has power but the piston will not extend. Any suggestions?

I just had something similar happen to our 2018 Miramar. The step only retracted about 80% of the way one day then it stopped working. I had to use a large zip tie to hold the steps all the way up. Dealer replaced the module and the step motor.

As a precaution, I use these step braces when we are parked at the site. I started using one on the lower stair at first, but found that two provides optimal stability. I place one at either edge of the step.

My issue is the internal step well not exterior steps.

Fancy! I worry about the more gizmos and gadgets we have on these coaches, the more issues we spend our time on chasing down.

What did you find out about your internal step? Our internal step that levels up to the floor won’t retract and level.

We had one motor fail very early on in a new coach. When replacing it I found the frame wasn't square and if you didn't extend the replacement motor by running it out 1/4 inch it was going to be in a bind and probably burn out again. Has worked so far numerous cycles since the replacement. At least 10x more than the original to date and still going.
