Extreme air leakage in cab

Asking 2015 - 2017 Hurricane or Windsport 27 or 29 owners.
Are you experiencing excessive noise in the cab due to wind whistling? I am. Especially with crosswinds. It seems to be both, windshield and side windows. I'm interested in if anyone has found and fixed them.

Thanx for any info.

We used to get a lot of whistling noise from the front side windows, I finally figured out the noise was caused by the side windows no closing securely. I sprayed the felt tracks liberally with silicone and sort of slammed the windows shut a few times, after doing this several times the windows were finally sealing in the tracks and the noise stopped. Occasionally I have to repeat this process when the whistling comes back.

Have you tried tracking down the source(s) of the air leaks?
If your ears can narrow down the search area: Bowhunters often use little "puff bottles" of talcum powder, to check the wind direction. Something like that might help!

Do you actually know why they're whistling?

They forgot the lyrics!

SuperD, I'll give that a go, however, to Bob's point, it sounds like most of the noise is coming from high up around windshield and/or the window frames.
I like the puff bottle of talcum powder idea. The fun part is getting the wife to use it while we are going down the road at speed .

Bob, if I could figure out the tune, I'd sure teach them the lyrics

Same problem on 2018 29M

Same problem here, really loud wind noise, seems to be coming from side windows. I tried the silicone and slide back and forth, no help. I did notice there is some "play" in the window ( in and out play) like its loose in the tracks. Any ideas short of taking it to dealer and having them keep it for 3 weeks would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forum!
Do you have any automotive shops nearby, that you could take it to?
They've probably got all sorts of ways to make windows less drafty!

I found a leak in our Super C where the cab was connected to the RV.

The strange thing is there is no water leaks that I see. I get lots of dust intrusion (nothing new for the antelope valley), but not water.
I'm considering forcing some sealant behind the windshield weatherstripping and possibly removing a side window to add a "seal/gasket".
Still mulling it over and haven't managed the talcum powder test yet.

And I thought I was the only one..
I can't seem to find my noise but from 50 to 65+ mph it's bad. Worse on the driver side and sounds like a squeal from the front end. I'll try all that I have seen here looking for HELP!
