I have a 2017 RQ29 and the generator isn't powering the cabin. Help!

If you have no problem when on shore power, and only when on generator, I'd start with checking the transfer relay. As it's name implied, the transfer relay transfer power from shore to generator.

It is a "switch" that controls whether the generator or shore power supplies power to the coach. It is automatic, and connects the supply that is "live".

These are notorious for "loose connections"

One thing, be sure and disconnect from shore power and turn off the generator before you check the connections, as this will be live 110v AC power..

There is also a circuit breaker on the generator that you should try to reset...

You might try looking on the generator itself and see if there is a circuit breaker on it. Mine is a 6500 and has 2 breakers. Simply pull off the generator cover and look. It will look a lot like a light switch.

The transfer relay on my Vegas is in a black plastic box about 5" X5" X 3". It will have pretty heavy duty wired going into it because it carries the 120 VAC power from the exterior shore power connection and the generator.

The recommendation to check circuit breakers on the generator is a good one. You may just have a tripped breaker on the generator.

I'm currently camping and have limited WiFi. If you go to rvtechmag.com and go to electrical tutorial they have a picture of the box that is the transfer switch so you can see what you are looking for. Also read the tutorial because it will explain about power transfer from shore power to generator
