Grey water pipe leaking

2016 Thor ACE 30.1
Unit is new. First use.
Grey water pipe cracked just before the joint closing valve.
Could this be a result of improper line-up of the tube, elbow and valve?
Anybody same experience? Are there suggestions?

Happened to me this winter. I emptied all and dumped in antifreeze but apparently there was enough untreated water waiting at the gate. The ell cracked due to freezing water. This winter I will leave the gate open. Hopefully your new unit will be repaired under warranty.

Yep it has happened to a lot of us. My solution is to leaved the gray water valve open just a little bit for a week after winterizing. Lowes carries all the ABS pieces you need to repair the section.
