A haze/fog when furnace is running

We have a new Hurricane 31s and noticed on our 2 day test trip there is a fog or haze when the furnace is running. This dissipates when it stops and comes back when it is running. We have a LP and carbon monoxide detector which have yet to go off. Could this be burning off a new system?

We had the samething happened while camping at beach last week (high humidity area) Used the furnace three times in desert prior - never saw it. RV shop could not get it to do it again. No smell or smoke/co2 alarms.

When I purchased the Axis back in October I had the same haze appear when running the furnace. It went away at some point after a short amount of use.
Your base will, too.

Fog

Yes, our new Axis 24.1 did the same thing the first few times we used the heater. It doesn't do it anymore.

Ok, I thought it would eventually go away. Thank you all for your replies.

That is typical with a band new unit! It is just burning off the residue and protectants used during assembly. I've experienced this with all three new coaches I've owned. The first two, it seemed to take approx 2 or 3 hrs of continues use to burn it all out.

HOWEVER, with my third coach, it seemed like it took almost 4 or 5 hrs of use, to clear it out. With the unit parked in my driveway, I fired up the heater, then ran the rear AC and the forward one on vent for a couple of hours and that seemed to help. Haven't had an issue since.

As for it being unhealthy, I don't know, I always keep both overhead vents open 1/2 way while running the heater!!

If you are operating the heater its because it is cold outside. To keep from having excessive condensation form on windows and walls (moist warm air inside, cold air outside) it is always advisable to keep a vent open or a window cracked like brianh442 above. That would probably preclude a problem with the fog.

I wouldn't think its good for you I would run it while not staying in it with roof vent open and fan running till it clears
The chemicals they coat those parts in cant be good for you and this should have been done by the dealer during PDI

It is just the oil burning off of the unit. They all do it, I have all ways done it at the dealer when taking delivery. Strange mid summer and I had the furnace going
