HDMI Cable replaced - finally can watch a dvd movie

Here is a pic of the over sink cabinet that I had to take apart to replace the HDMI cable Thor broke when they built the RV. The cable ran down one side, in this false space, and up the other side to behind the TV mounted over the dinette.

They had the end of the cable bent at more than a 90 degree angle behind the TV that the wires were broken inside, preventing the signal from the DVD player on the other side of the coach. What is not seen is the other side where I had to take apart the over the door and over the coach cabinets. Now we are able to finally watch a DVD. ough!

How was the false bottom of the cabinet attached? Small nails, glue, or something else?

FW28Z, it was attached with a little glue and those minute staples. I simply used a putty knife to get in the edge gap and easily pry it down. There was absolutely no damage on the panel which showed they used a very minute amount of glue - surprise!

I used glue and finishing nails to reattach it.

In my Astoria, the HDMI cable is bent into a 90 and continually comes unplugged. (combination of the cable being too short & the DVD player "jammed" against the wall behind the cabinet.
