Help....I blown a fuse.

Hello everyone.
Does anyone know what fuse or breaker controls the 2 power ports located on the center dash console of a 2015 thor vegas 24.1.?

I attempted to plug in a DC adapter for a sirus radio and think I blew a fuse that controls both of those power adapters...

Can anyone help me out? We hope to head out on 2 week road trip early tomorrow morning. I have search for hours in the 3 fuse boxes...

3 Fuse boxes: Which ones did you look in?
  • Under Dash
  • Under hood
  • In drivers side front storage compartment
I would think it should either be in the one under the dash or in the drivers side front storage compartment.

Jamie

I have looked into all 3. But going to cram myself back under dash..

Would be nice if someone knew actual breaker number.

I've got exactly the same problem, but can't find a fuse box under the dash. Could anyone point out where it is? Thanks.

On the Axis the under dash fuse box is to the left of the steering column (when facing forward). Its pretty high up under there to the left. It is kind of small as the fuses are the little mini ones.

Thanks, found the fuses under the dash.

BTW
Turns out the fuse for the power ports on the dash (for Garman, XM, etc) is F17 "Power Point" in the box in the compartment on the driver's side. Not under the dash. At least that's what's blown on my rig.

Fuses for my 2014 Thor Vegas 24.1, Power Point and Jensen Radio are located in the forward most outside storage drivers side.
The Radio is 5 amp. I believe it's labeled F35.
The power point is 20 amp.

The Jensen radio on my 2014 Vegas 24.1, continuously blows the 5 amp fuse located in the drivers side storage compartment fuse box.
It almost seems like like it is related to the side camera coming on when the turn signals are used.
Any ideas?

Put a bigger fuse in. When I swapped out the Jensen radio on our Axis I discovered that the radio itself has a 10 amp fuse in the back of it. Kind of silly having a 5 amp protecting a 10 amp one.

Thanks, I tried a 7.5 amp fuse, no help.
I will try a 10 amp.

Had the same problem with my 24.1. Took CW 4 times to fix it. They finally replaced the whole fuse board under the drivers side compartment. If this continues, just run a new dedicated power line directly from the house batteries. The last time this fuse blew, the tech said "lets keep our fingers crossed it works this time". A great answer that doesnt inspire confidence for a permanent fix. I concluded the problem is a pinched wire somewhere in the system. They couldnt find it with a ten man search party. These power points are important and we use them all the time. I am now out of warranty and will do my own repairs. A new power line directly to the power points will permanently correct the issue, if it returns.

Axis 12 Volt Port Fuse

Bit late here as I just joined.

New 2015 Axis 24.1 owner.
I called Thor and they could not tell me where itthe fuse was located (they made a lot of wrong guesses though) so I traced it on my own and then sent Thor the updated Schematic and Wiring docs to update their documentation.

On My 2015 Axis the 12V front power jacks dash fuse is located in position 70 in the ford fuse box located in the engine compartment (In the Ford E350 stripped chassis manual it is referred as the BJB fuse box).

It is a Low profile JCase 30A Fuse.

In my case it was half the price at the local Ford dealership than at the local parts suppliers.

Old thread but a life saver .
No power at my dash 12 volt socket , no worthwhile guidance in my Thor paperwork , came here and found this thread.
Sure enough Engine compartment fuse box , fuse 70 . J case low profile 30amp fuse.
This is for my 2016 Vegas 24.1
Thank you Arby
