Hole in floor?

I pulled out the drawer under the bed and noticed light. There is a 3" dia hole in the floor for 1" conduit that comes from the generator. Anyone else have such a large hole and is it filled with foam or a cover? I have a 2016 Axis 24.1

Cosmo, that seems like over kill to say the least. I would put copper cloth and then foam. the copper will keep rodents from chewing through the foam.

That's interesting. I don't think I have been in there and I will have to look when I get home. By "drawer" do you mean the ones between the beds? Do you think you could post another picture of an overview of the location. A friend had mice get into his RV while he was gone and chew things up. That hole certainly looks big enough for that. Thanks for posting.

Yes, the drawer between the beds. Here's a couple more pics (the grey thing is a temporary foam plug). I noticed the hole from the bottom when I mounted my spare, but assumed it went to some sort of sealed junction box. I think I will 3D print a cap instead of using half a can of foam.

Thanks for the info and the pictures. I need to get under there and look when I get home. I have been gone two and a half months. Hope that no "critters" have found themselves a new home in my RV.

Just checked mine and it has the black foam plugging hole. Glad you folks post these areas and pics that need checking.
