As a side note: Good job with the pool noodles on the slide out to keep people from cracking their heads!

We also keep the night shades down at all times. Windows, tinted or not, are a great source of heat. Start the morning with the unit very cool and keep the door closed as much as possible and shades closed.

Hud .. 3:30pm here..88 outside (yea!) .. 98 inside without a/c on .. and vents/windows have been closed all day as we have forecast rain.
I know this does not address your a/c question.
This will be our baseline .. as we prepare to take the road in a couple days.

Hot in oklahoma

97° in the sun 77° in the Vegas by adding a rear 13.5 air-conditioner and window tint feels much better.

If you don't mind me asking what did it cost to add a rear a/c unit?

rear ac question

So, with the rear AC are you still running on 30 amp or did you have to go to 50 amp service

Hot in oklahoma

I'm still running 30 amp service but i ran a separate electric cord for rear air conditioner that can be that can be used at the RV Park with 20amp service. while traveling on highway with roof ac and dash air the VEGAS is very comfortable. but very hot while sitting in direct sun at 97° are 100° at RV Park.
I purchased Dometic brisk air 2 which has a smaller footprint then the Coleman AC. Air conditioning upper and lower unit $520 and $50 for electric wire and plug And (MY LABOR)

Thanks looks like a really nice upgrade. Was it difficult to install?

Hey "Hot in Oklahoma"

I live in OKC and recently purchased a new Thor Hurricane. Maybe we should connect and help each other with our "Oklahoma Issues"

I hope to hear from you.

I live in Las Vegas and was having the same cooling problem. I saw this video, and followed it. Made a big difference in the cooling. I also run a small fan to help. Hope it opens, if not I'll try again. https://youtu.be/ja9zhyfrIqE
