Replacement Storage Bay Locks
Good Morning All
Been searching the web high & low for Global Link cam locks 1 1/8" Keyed G-391. Several of the "RV Locks" websites I have contacted, don't carry the Global Link locks
Looking for ANYONE ... who has the Global Link locks on their bay doors, which use the Global Link Key: G-391, and exactly from WHERE did you buy them????
Thanks Much for your Help!!

I just replaced mine with tubular style keyed locks. I'm keeping the 391 locks as backup.

I might have to do the same if I can't find the Global Link.
Where did you buy your locks?
Thanks!

Third result on a Google search. The first two were just keys:
https://www.rvlocksandmore.com/7-8-C...eyed-to-G391_2
Jungle site has them as well but at a much higher price.

Called? They have an online checkout system. Use a credit card, they claim to have them in stock. If not - you're not out anything but the time to initiate a charge back to your CC company.

Don’t call or email. Just order what you need from these folks. They’ll have it to you in a couple of days.

Exactly.
The OP wasn't/isn't on a path that leads to secure bins.
OP,
Rethink your order and invest in a lock that doesn't have the same key as maybe 98% of rv's.

I recently replaced all of my keyed storage locks. I didn't trust the existing ones for security... although you know the story about a determined thief...
These new locks are somewhat of a PIA to get the tubular shaped key in. But they seem pretty robust.

I’m doing the opposite. I’m doing away with locks. Just another point for guaranteed failure in the future. Plus anyone with that same grey key can get whatever they want. I guess they can steal a couple chairs. A grill. Sewer nose. But they’re already out if we’re at a campground. 40 years ago when tent camping, our life possessions were kept safe behind a nylon tent. But over those same 40 years of camping, I’ve never had our stuff messed with.

You and Beau have ASSUMED my intentions for having all locks with one key had ANYTHING to do with security!
After 20 years ... retiring as a Detective of a major crime unit ... 6 years with the U.S. Army in E.O.D, I think I might have just a clue about REAL security!
I spent $150.00 for convenience!
I bet you pink slips ... that the 98% or RVers you claim have the same key, don't have any where near the security systems (videos/sensors) I have at home or on my coach, or the fire power if needed
After 4 Class A coaches, and years of traveling ... I have never had 1 of the 98% of RVers attempt to steal anything. I have never been foolish enough to leave my coach at Camping World or anywhere else, with anything worth taking.
Glad you both had the time to reply with a nice positive response, with the same input you have posted before in other posts!

You couldn't manage to acquire the most common lock in the rv world without considerable help.
When any question is too simple
Our job here
Is to realize that the question is too simple, too far away of what any average person would know...for a reason.
We answer a question with the same level as it is asked.
Sometimes the question shows vast experience and we detail an answer accordingly.
There was no reason to tell you of the rfid locks on some of my bins.

All burns aside, most people know that determined thieves cannot be stopped. The intent is to make the target unattractive... as in all the efforts with catalytic converters.
We've never had anything stolen... not even chairs left out. Things happen in crowded sketchy campgrounds. We avoid those and go out to nowhere land - most thieves won't waste a tank of gas to get to us... Just slap a large "proud NRA supporter" sticker on your RV.

Me too!
First it was a PITA to reach into my pocket, pull out the keys and unlock one but usually two locks to get into the locker. Now all have simple latches now.
Secondly, I store my RV at a yard that has tight security- the entrance has a gate controlled by your key fob and there are security cameras all over. Also I could replace all of the stuff behind those hatches for a few hundred bucks.
Now when I do carry my $1000 e-bike in one of those compartments, I am more careful and bring it home after each RV trip. I have zero concern about it being stolen from the campground.
David
