Wheel bearing seals

I always repack my own wheel bearings on my FifthWheel, not too much trouble just messy. My question is: Pulling the hubs to check brake pads, is it a good idea to replace rear bearing seals also, even if they aren't leaking. Since you pulled the hub off and disturbed the seal.

You mentioned brake pads, which are used on disk brakes. You dont pull the hub to check pads. Other wise why not do it all at the same time once a year?

Sorry guess I should have said brake shoes. No need to pack bearings every year, but after long trip through mountains, like to check. Also not bad idea to check for leaky rear seals. So my question Is should the rear seal always be replaced if ok.

If there is no sign of grease around the seal, you should be OK. If you pull the inner bearing out, then you have to replace the seal.
