Just how level is reqired to be "level"

We have take our maiden voyage in our 2016 Vegas had a great time. We will be virtually exclusively use full hookup sites which are mostly level by nature, but I have read about refrigerators not working properly if not kept level and I am sure the slide out would complain also. The prior owner installed bubble levels on the sidewall and front dash area and by moving around in the space I could get about a bubble off (sometimes a half) in most cases but not perfect. I have levelling blocks but it just threw it off the other way.

As long as we are comfortable just how level does the vehicle have to be so everything works and not bind the slideout?

Thanks.

Well, that depends on the coach as far as binding the slide-out.

Fore and aft level should be within 3 degrees, side to side can be within 6 degrees. And it's not just to make it work better, it is to make it last longer. If it can't gravity drain correctly down the tubes it won't work as efficiently and can cause accelerated corrosion in the tubes which lead to a refrigerant leak and early demise.

Even the 'level' sites are sloped to allow water runoff. Its usually close enough, (not always) to not be uncomfortable, but screws up cooking, and water drainage in sinks and bath tubs.

Actually, those are supposed to be inches needed to make level.

Seems they forgot to take into account the size of the RV. I'm sure a 19' travel trailer would need different inches than a 40' DP motorhome.

We carry a 3 foot level but many times if we open the bath room door and it stays with out moving, try several spots from closed to full open, you will be close enough.
