I read through that entire thread, and one stated they talked to "Ron, at Anderson" and he said the valve could be used with the pressure on, or off.
In my case mine is leaking from the brass fitting, screwed into the plastic tee going to the Hot Water by-pass. An email i received from Anderson says you can't tighten the Brass nut or it could crack the other fittings. Also they no longer use the 200RV-PT, and they would be glad to "SELL" me a replacement Valve Panel 200RV-WHB for $160 ! ! !
