I believe they are all after market because the coach manufacturer installs someone else’s locks.

I have a Bauer on the Accolade and after an issue with the key backup on the lock and replacing it myself no problems. Bauer sent me the new lock under warranty.

I replaced the original lock with a Bauer and like it fine. After a couple years the electronics went bad after the warranty period and Bauer offered a new one at a reduced price. I declined and just use the key, works fine for me. Jim.

Without knowing your vehicle model and year we can't even tell you if the lock is available for your model.
There is not a lock available for mine.

If you build it, they will come...

Including me.

Put me down for 1 Vegas/Axis Keyless entry when you have completed all of your engineering and production

It only took me about 2 minutes to get the power lock attachment to work.
But
Its a major structural and design rework of the door screen.

I can:
Just take the screen off.
Or
Change to a magnetic lock.
Magnetics requires a 1x5 inch slot cut into the door. That's fairly scary right now AND I'll have to bend a wrap around brace and trim the exterior wall.
But
The magnetic lock let's me have a keypad, rfid and a keyfob remote and an app and Echo.
But
so does my door lock actuator which took two minutes to install.
But
I have to do major screen mods

Repeat

Had one, seemed the batteries couldn’t hold a very long charge, especially in extreme hot or cold weather. I loved the convenience, but had to carry the keys with me anyway, so why bother.

Electronic door entey for RV

I installed the Bauer Lock by AP Products. Pretty straight forward. Had to adjust the door jam piece with a file. Not much was just a little out if alignment. You do have to reach around the screen a little to get a grip on the Bauer handle when closing frim the inside. I hid an extra key on the MH just in case the Bauer decided to fail. I’ve had it for two years with no issues. Really convenient not having to carry a key with me especially when visiting the pool at the campground. Well worth the investment in my opinion.

I added this cabinet/drawer handle to the lock to help close the door and to hold on to so the door doesn't fly open

Terrific solution. Haven't had time to think about it after I just installed an RvLock Keyless on our Thor Palazzo 33.2, and changed the Gas Prop to a 10lb for my wife. She has a hard time pulling the door shut. I did tell her a good wind might close the door though. I will be adding the cabinet door handle.

I have a door lock from RVLock since June and just installed Black Friday storage bay locks. RVLock has excellent customer service. I like that I can independently unlock door and storage as the key fob has 2 different sets of buttons. Plus, it has a keypad that you can use if the keys aren’t available or the battery dies.

Only problem I had was the door lock catching and not unlocking if you accidentally try to pull the door open while still locked. I needed their extra sticker as the Challenger handle was larger than the RVLock.

You are correct about the original lock being larger than the RvLock. I will address it later with touch-up paint. I will find an automotive paint supplier and have them match the paint. On mine it is the painted area and not a sticker. Mine is a Palazzo 33.2.

When I installed the lock, I made the mistake of setting the keys in the rig and closing the door. I used the key pad to lock and then unlock. The door would not completely unlock. With a good flashlight I was able to see the latch slide almost open. I have an "L" shaped narrow tool that was just able to slide into the gap between the frame and the door. Pushed on the end of the latch and it cleared. A nice file made the clearance necessary for it to function. If I had kept the keys in my pocket, they would have slid the latch fully open. I know since I tried it. The FOB works well too.

I purchased one from, RVLock. With some minor modifications to the lock and Door on our 2015 Axis it works great. Keyless entry and key pad... it’s real nice not having not having to carry your keys with you..
I also replaced all the storage key locks with cam locks with covers.

I see you mentioned installing a RVLock on your Palazzo 33.2. We are confused on RVLock's website about which lock will fit our 33.2. What model of RV Lock did you install on yours? Was it a good initial fit or require any modification? Can you send a pick of the outside/inside please?

Also, forgot to ask. What year Palazzo 33.2 did you install your RVLock?
