Kitchen Slideout motor

When I press the button to open the slide, nothing happens, no motor sound, nothing. My 2014 Thor Vegas is plugged into my 30 amp outlet at home. Everything else is working. I really would like some help on this.
Thank you very much!
Rosie in Michigan

Are batteries charged, the slide motor is 12 volt, plugging into 120 volts runs the converter which charges your batteries. Do you have the "store/use" switch in "use", if not your batteries aren't being charged, therefore no power to your slide motor. This applies whether your slides are electric or hydraulic, charged batteries are required.

Thank you Danny, Travelin' Texans ...but where is the "store/use" switch located? I think it's the one our dealer called a "kill switch" by the awning switch.

It would be the 'kill switch'... but if plugged into 110 - the converter would provide the needed 12v regardless of the use/store position...
It won't charge the batteries if in 'store' - so it should be in 'use' if plugged in - but will operate all the 12v gear regardless.

There are interlocks that prevent operating slides with ignition on...
Should have engine off, in park, emergency brake set.

Find the controller (see Ed's manual if you don't know where they are) and see if there are any codes (flashing lights).

Check for 12v at the motor connections on the controller.
Check for 12v on the EXTend/RETract contacts (to ground) when pressing the button (don't assume the connections are as labeled - at least one of mine is backwards.)
