Leaking storage compartment

So my Thor Chateau 23U has a leak in the power storage compartment. I thought it was just a fluke at first, but today after some rains last week I found water once again in the cord storage compartment! Ugh!
Any way, it being the electrical power cord storage area, I'm a little concerned!
I am going to replace the weatherstripping for this small unit. Then I have to ask. Is there supposed to be a drain in this area? Could the round cord access hole be the culprit? Could it be the water is coming in through the wall? OMG, I hope not!
Help!

My A.C.E 30.2 rear hatch leaked when i got it and it was the door seal was not sealing against door. I added some foam seal on the door itself and stopped my problem but does make the door harder to close.

Fresh caulk & weatherseal

What I did to correct the leak, and I hope it works.
Cut away old caulk from round cord access door. small bead of new quality caulk inside and outside of round access door.
Removed all old weatherstripping from square door. Cleaned off metal flange. New marine dual tube weatherstripping in place. Tight fit now!
I hope it all works as advertised! Wish me luck.

for what its worth, I discovered when I first got our MH that the camlocks they used are not weather tite. I had a leak that was perplexing me....luckily it was a big compartment
so my daughter got in with a flashlight while I hosed form the outside.... she found the leak right away. Seems to come right through the tumbler, not around the mounting hole so much....
I get moisture in my drop cord bay too. Have been meaning to figure out a vent or drain for it
