Why is there a red light blinking in the front driver side storage compartment only when the generator is running on a Vegas 24.1?

Have you checked the oil level in the generator?

I don't know for sure, but would "guess" the blinking may indicate you have a fault code stored on your gen. If you turned the gen off by pressing the "off" button once or twice (at the generator) it may have cancelled the blinking. Blinking should stop after 5 minutes automatically. If you hit the stop button (at the gen) three times within 5 seconds, does the blinking start again?

If this is a fault indication, try to find a Service Manual on line for your gen and refer to section 10 Troubleshooting for a description of how to get your fault codes. By the way the blinking 3 (service fault) or 4 times (cranking exceeded 15-20 sec without starting) repeated, is not part of the actual fault code.....just letting you know there is a code to retrieve I think.

That's my best guess.....could be something totally different though.

You might get some helpful responses if you would let folks know what kind of Rv you are talking about. Until anything anyone tells you is no more than a guess.

My Vegas has a red light on dash and control console. It lets you know gen running. Is it blinking while running or after you turn off or it quits?

Rereading, the front driver side lower storage compartment is where slide controller is. Maybe its a high voltage while generator topping off batteeries.

First determine if the box (controller) that’s flashing is a LCI slide controller. If it is count the blinks. Not knowing what kind of system you have, slide no slide. There are several of us experiencing 9 red blinking lights one green light. If this is what you are seeing reply back and I will bring you along the best I can.
Good Luck

I was thinking the same thing. I believe it is his slide control that he is seeing blinking.
As Sonny said, count the number of blinks after the green light and report back.
