LEDLights dim

Have 2017 thor outlaw 37bg. 5 overhead lights in main part of coach started lighting at about half brightness. All other lights are fine. Unit has spyder panel. Tested voltage (plugged in). Got 8.8volts on these lights. (13.1 on oher interior lights) Suspect panel output ,but don’t know where to test in panel, or what to do, if it were the panel.

I'll be watching this thread with interest because our 2018 Aria just started doing the same thing.

Editing to add that our Aria has a G6A panel instead of your G7A

Interesting

Have you replaced any of the bulbs? Maybe with a canbus bulb.

Might be a bad bulb, while monitoring the voltage start removing the bulbs 1 at a time.

Will one LED knock the entire circuit to dim down?

I try to never say never.... it's possible.

Bulbs like these probably not. ..... A few of the LasFit, probably.

I don't know about the Outlaw, but for sure on the Aria, the led's in the ceiling can be dimmed by holding the on/off button down. I did not know this for several months after we got ours.

You nailed it, at least for our Aria. We're back to full brightness. Thanks!

Thanks to all who replied.

Thanks to all who took the time to reply. Turns out it was the fact that if you hold the button down, it dims the lights. We have owned the coach for 3 years, and never knew that. I don’t feel too stupid (yes, a little bit stupid) because I discussed the problem with the service manager at the dealership, where we bought the unit new, and he was unaware of this feature.

There is a dimmer switch on the lighting master switch. Go to your control press as you were turning on the lights and you will see the up n down arrows for the dimmer. We had the same problem until I noticed the dimmer feature.

Don't feel too stupid. I've owned mine for 3 years and I've never heard of that before. Thanks for the advice.
