Left side lower than right side of ACE

Does any one know why the left side of our Rv sits about 2 inches lower than the right side? This difference is noticeable when comparing the most left side of the rear bumper to the most right side of the rear bumper.
This is while the weight is on the tires (not on the jacks).

Could the left side shocks be fatigued from having to accommodate the weight of the left side slide-out (which is a full length slide-out) ? There is no slide-out on the right side.

Replace shocks? Or what?

Thanks for any suggestions.

Neil

Its not the shocks. Shocks don't provide any lifting force--that is the springs. Shocks only provide resistance to movement (and hence dampen the suspension travel).

Find a local scale that can weigh the unit on all 4 corners.

i have a 2014 ACE 30.2 and I notice the same thing when the slide is extended, I know the full wall slide is got to be heavier than the items on the right side so I am assuming that is why.
The fresh water tank is mostly on the center to the right side, try and fill your tank full and see if that helps your level.

Thanks for your reply.
Ours is a 2016 30.2, and I first thought that the slide--after being extended, was the cause. But, upon further inspection, it is the same way when the slide is in.
And based upon what Jamie just wrote and based upon my mechanic already suggesting that I replace the springs (for ride and comfort reasons), I'm going to try new springs.
Does yours even back up when the slide is in?

yeah mine sets pretty level with slide in, other than I think its time for some SUMO springs my back end is setting lower than front.

Which side of your rig is your fresh water tank on and do you have water in the tank?

1 gal of water = approx 8 pounds.

20 gal = approx 160 pounds

50 gal = approx 400 pounds.

I noticed on my Miramar I filled the water tank for a dry camping trip, (100) gal approx 800 pounds. She was listing a lot to the right, (fresh tank on the right.) While parked in my driveway, I put down the right levelers, to raise that side, so it wasn't putting too much strain in the suspension system. I figured once I was in motion, it wouldn't be as bad!

The other culprit may be loading, do you have too much weight in your lower bays on one side? If you think that may be the case, drive over a DOT scale on your next trip, put your right wheels or left slightly off the scale. Take that weight down, then weigh the whole rig and subtract the difference to find your other side weight!

Hope this helps!
