low pressure A/C access

I'm a new Thor owner. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to access the low pressure fitting to service the A/C. I can see it but need another eight inches of arm length to reach it. Can I get to it from the dog house?
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, Dave.

Congratulations and welcome.

It may help us assist you a little better if we knew which coach you have?

Im assuming your talking about the chassis AC (Cab AC) since you mentioned dog House? I have not looked at mine yet but if your is a Ford then I would think any Ford dealer that offers RV service will know how to access.

Sorry Jamiegeek

Its a 2017 Thor Vegas with the V10. Not sure if there're different V10s.

Well sort of: The F-53 has a 3-valve version and the E-Series (Axis/Vegas and Class C's) have a 2-valve version but that is about the only difference.

Which floorplan? (doesn't really have any bearing on your question since all Axis/Vegas units have the same front end; I'm just curious.)

I have a 2016 Vegas. Alittle difficult but doable from front on mine. My unit also has sightglass on drier. i charged slowly till no bubbles and it has been fine since June of 2016.
