Help

I recently bought a 2018 Thor chateau and while winterizing for the first time I didn't realize that the flexible section of kitchen sink drain creates a second trap and it froze. Rookie mistake. Now I'm having trouble finding a replacement. Any advice,???

Call Thor. Give them the VIN. They will be able to tell you the part and where to get it.

I wonder if it makes a difference if you winterize with the slide in or out?

Some of those have a solid connection on one end, may check that, if so most any household faucet can be used to replace the el cheapo rv faucet.
The slide in\out makes no difference on the kitchen sink spray nozzle hose. It shouldn't make a difference on any water line provided you've pumped rv antifreeze/blown air through all the lines.
Sorry, reread your post & it said "drain". Still it's standard size plumbing fittings sold at most home improvement stores. You may have customize a bit, but shouldn't be that difficult.
