I just had 7 tires (6 tires plus spare for a E450) replaced under the recall - in early April - just as soon as I could get the RV out of the snow bank. I discovered some dry rot on the tires - which were barely 3yr old with 5,800 miles on them - so lucky for me the tires were recalled.
I went to a tire shop that specialized in commercial trucks and RVs (rather than Sears, Discount Tire, etc). They have 6 or 7 locations in my area, so they can move stock from location to location. They told me that they have been replacing those tires like mad since the first of the year on everything from UPS delivery vans, U-Haul trucks, and the like.
They would run out every few days, but they have been getting a steady supply of tires from Michelin.
I had to wait a couple of days for them to find 7 tires, so I would suggest finding a specialty tire shop like I did in your area - contacting them - and getting in the queue if that is what it takes.
It's my understanding that the recall involves some 1.2 million tires... so it might take awhile.
