2017 Thor Quantum LF31 batteries on powering coach

I am having problems with my Quantum LF 31 and I’m hoping that someone might be able to help. I’m not sure if my use/disconnect switch is faulty, or if there is a safety breaker that I can’t find. My batteries are fine because my inverter powers my refrigerator and generator auto-start. However, I am not getting power to the dashboard, coach lights, or the couple of outlets that are normally powered by the coach batteries. The lights and outlets work fine with shore power. None of the breakers underneath the bed are tripped, and I can’t find any blown fuses. Also, the flag on the front of the house battery box is in, and the fuse link between the fuses under the hood and the bus board is in tact. The use/disconnect switch does not make the expected clunking sound in either direction. Does anyone know of any other safety breakers on the 2017 Quantum? Is it more likely that my use/disconnect switch is bad? Or maybe the relay is faulty? If so, can you hardwire a jumper to bypass the delay underneath the hood? Any help would be appreciated.

Wow, it sounds like you looked at/checked out everything I would have checked! I was going to suggest the flag because I couldn't even find mine! It was up behind the the battery box. I had to slide under the MH to find it. I relocated it when I did my 4 battery upgrade. Wish I could be of help!
Oh, Welcome to the forum!

I think I found it

Actually, thanks for the reply. I think I’ve finally found it. There are several interesting things behind the breaker panel. Something told me to open the hatch underneath the bed and check there. Raise the mattress and lift the panel closest to the front and there exists several more safety fuses (one 5a and one 15a that I could see). Also, the actual shore power box and switch is under there. On the top of it, there is a tiny black reset button. I pushed it and my use/disconnect switch starting working again. For anyone else having this problem, I hope this helps. I did see that elusive sat splitter under there, too. But, I am willing to bet that those cables probably run to the TVs on the bunk beds, and have nothing to do with the so-called satellite pre-wire.

Yes, it is. The little bitty black button on top of whatever kind of capacitor that is. How? Guess and test - with insulated tools. You gotta love THOR! No 2 are the same.

Not really. I'd been looking for it for weeks before I decided to beg for help.

To bad Thor couldn't do this a little classy and organized. It looks like they take so the wires altogether in close the lid. Glad you found it.

Thank you!

Thank you for this information!! I had been searching everywhere for this information. We even talked to the dealer because we had just purchased our Quantum the day before. They were going to get it in for us quickly but we are ready to head out and didn't want to mess with that.

So again, a HUGE thank you!!
