That actually doesn't look that bad on the Axis there.

I'll probably go hug ours tomorrow and snap a pic for comparison (we got about 10" on Friday and are expecting another 5" or so tomorrow).

Yes not bad. I would like to see your pic because on the ground if you notice there's about I would say 15 in... but on the top of it seems like there's only about four or five weird. This snow was super light not the super wet heavy stuff...

My MIssus loves running our SnowThrower
It's a 30" Three-Stage rig, and it throws snow as if it means it!

Me? I just get to run the "tools of ignorance"

(Its hard to see since everything is so white but the snow around the RV is at least a foot if not deeper--it was almost up to my knee walking around it. In fact for this visit I left my car parked near the road and walked through the lot--there was no way I was going to be able to drive to the RV ).
Then I'd have to clear the snow from the roof.
Then I'd have to take the cover off.
Then the kid would have to be off to college.
Then I'd have to retire
Then the wife would have to retire.
Then, maybe, we could go to FL.

Also note that my mother will be moving soon from FL back to MI to be closer to us....

I've been a Blackhawks fan since the '60s. The way they're playing lately I think I'd rather go out and shovel the driveway.

I can't agree with you more it's pathetic last night was the worst it's over... The only positive is if you want to go to a game you could get tickets for under $30 now. And I am outside right now another day in Northwest Indiana more snow.Attachment 8994Attachment 8995

Wow your streets look soo much better than ours. We still have a good 6-8" of slush/snow on ours--even the main streets.

We're also in the same boat with respect to the local hockey team. At least the Red Wings have a shiny new arena to distract everyone from the product on the ice (although a lot of the kids are coming along...just not fast enough for fans).

(Been to the new arena a couple of times now..Wow it really is something to look at. That scoreboard is mesmerizing...

Judging from our travels over the years, Michigan has the worst roads in the nation.

Wow
Out of curiosity how do you keep your coach batteries charged while in storage all that time? I just took mine out of storage after only two weeks and they were dead.

JB,
You might want to get all of that weight off of the deck.

(Unless it was built with snow loads like this in mind... )

I have disconnects on both batteries. The chassis battery as a knife switch (about the only thing I could fit/reach under the "hood") and the house battery has a marine type disconnect on it. It was far easier to simply install the disconnects than it was to try to hunt down every little parasitic load.

Thus the last time I was at the coach (Sunday) when I connected the batteries the meter on the chassis battery read 12.4V.

If we're now showing our back decks after the snowmageddon:
