Good afternoon, everybody,
Got a little bit of the problem, and looking for advice from the experts here. The rear wall of my rig is joined to the ceiling by a curved piece of what’s probably wall board (under some pressure since the material is normally straight). Cables and such live behind it. This is how it’s supposed to look:
It’s become unstuck, both at the ceiling and wall, allowing the cables to dangle. Looks like it was stuck up with a couple of dabs of glue, and Florida’s temperatures have caused it to come loose.
The fix seems obvious to me: tack it back up in place with little finishing nails. My concern is what might be behind the wall and above the ceiling that might not take kindly to nails poking into them. It’s past the AC vents, so the ducts are out of danger. The dangling cable sure looks like a video cable, so I’m guessing it’s to the backup camera. Not sure of what other wires might be there.
Does anyone know if I’m likely to do more damage, and/or have a better idea how I could fix it?
Thanks in advance!
