I spoke with Thor and Camping World today. Both were extremely helpful.

If I went to a body shop:
The body shop would need to contact Thor who would put the body shop in touch with the actual vendor for the items I want to replace. The body shop would order and install them. Thor send me the graphics diagrams. Thor did confirm this is the HD-Max gel coat.

If I went to Camping World:
They would handle the entire thing.

When I bring it Camping World in a couple of weeks to have the sound bar replace (defective) i will get an estimate from them for the work. They will order the parts and I will bring it back to them for the work.

Good luck with your repair. Make sure you stay on top of CW. Maybe get a chair and sit next to the GM while your coach is in the shop.

Been there the door assembly comes complete plus the decals some one must order from Thor not cheap the shipping is over 100 dollars and will take some time I would go with a body shop to get a good install that will not leak plus cw may take weeks.

looking at the photo i think a body shop could work the door frame and repair the body and the chocolate brown as well. i think you should take it to a body shop and let them see it before ordering any parts.

I have an appointment with Camping World (for some construction defects) for Thursday. Going to see what there cost and time frame is. I will try to stop at a body shop to see what they say.

Camping World gave me a ball park for about $1000 to fix the damage. I was very surprised. We will get it fixed up during their down time over the winter.

What is your Collision Deductible?
For a $1000 repair bill: it's probably not worth calling your Insurance Carrier...

I dropped the rig this past Friday at Camping World to repair this damage along with some other warranty and voluntary work.

While pictures don't always show all the damage. From what I can see a good body shop that handles RV's or trucks can fix that right up. There again pictures can be tough but the door frame can be straightened out easily, little bit of sanding and a little bit of filler it will look good as new.

I think that's what most folks think about just plain driving anymore.

I don't know about your neck of the woods but when you get down here to Florida you might notice there are bumps integrated into the pavement on both sides of the lanes on major roadways. You'll definitely notice if you stray out of you lane by the physical and audible feedback. We've always said they were built that way for the drivers that need Braille to drive by.
