A quick search seems to be that most of the lines are attached to a barb with a standard hose clamp. Most of the "for RV use" chassis come from Ford with a designated fuel barb specifically for the generator. Thor CS could probably confirm how they tie into to the chassis tank. Are you replacing the fuel line from the tank to the generator? Onan might be able to answer this also. They probably have a "spelled out" process for how RV manufacturers are to connect the fuel lines.

Fuel connections

Thanks for replying,
Generator issues we all have them. Looks like I’ll replace fuel line to the generator might as well change fuel filter and pump, oil while I’m at it. But yes pulling a little bit of air working in the evening so can’t reach manufactures for some reason they like to go home too. Hard to get to top of tank area so without dropping the tank I’m working by feel if it’s a push or depress connection is what I was hoping for shouldn’t be to difficult. But I will check with Cummings or Thor today.
I appreciate y’all!!

Saw where one guy cut an access hole though the floor to reach the top of tank...happened to be under his bed so not much of an issue. As far as service..I'm fortunate to have a Cummins shop near me. They service the generator while I wait. One hour and $165. Not bad...includes fuel filter, overall checkup...everything. I cut my hands up enough just opening a box of cereal. I'm done with twisting wrenches.

Yup that’s about how tight it is except I’m bigger than Bruce !! My bed is over the tank also thought about it and have done it to some older pickup work trucks before . That is a good price for gen service and worth it. Just personal challenge just to say I still can. I don’t twist wrenches anymore I just throw em now.
