2015 Miramar 34.2 slide problems

Took the coach in for 2 extra batteries and to replace the bad inverter Xanthrex pro 1800 on warranty. Got home, slid out slide and the left most corner in bedroom, ripped up the linoleum floor. Made a bad noise. Brought it back in and flattened the floor back and felt for a cause, a carpeted block that finished the end piece of the carpeted pedestal was rubbing on the floor. Anyone have this happen, and what now?

Under the bearing blocks on the slide system are nylon rollers. If the roller is worn or fell off the slide would lose it's support and shift down, may be enough to cause it to rub.

A screw on the roller plate under the slide, had come half way out and I think it caught the mechanism, I took out the screw, tried to replace it, but it is stripped. I have an appt to take it in for warranty in 2 weeks.

Update, finally they are repairing the slide under the extended Compass warranty, but they don't want to pay for the ripped up floor. Floors like tires are wear & tear items they say. So if it caught on fire from a faulty heater and burnt the floor, sorry, is it ...we can't cover it...? Need to pay a call to them.

slide issues

We also have lived the faulty slide system nightmare - forcing us to into an unwanted litigation fight. Read my story at rvintelguru.com
