rear awning stopped working

Hello, I have a 2014 Thor outlaw toy hauler model 37 MD. The rear awning is stuck about a foot out and will not move in either direction. The front awning works fine and I can only find one fuse labeled for our awning so I don't think it is the fuse. Anything suggestions ?

At you able to retract it with a power drill?

No, have not tried. I heard that could be done but not sure how to do it.
That could be a temporary fix until I learn how to fix the problem.

these are the normal steps to take:

1. Replace the fuse
2. Check any circuit breaker
3. Some (mine included) has a control box that can be manually reset. Mine is in one of the cargo bays on the same side as the awning.
4.Test for power to the motor at the forward end of the awning. You should be able to remove the end cap exposing the wiring and there is likely a plug there. Attach a jumper set of wires to a 12v supply and see if the motor works direct. If so you can retract it then think about a trip to the repair dealer or more work for you to find out what's wrong. Some also have a kind of a plug in the motor end of the awning control head. You can remove it then inside is a bolt head or allen headed bolt. Turning that will retract or extend the awning. You need a drill to do it or you will be turning it for a week.

Goos luck.
