new rver's

we recently purchased a 2016 challenger but have had issues with the water diverter(the switch in the water bay) that determines whether you are using city water or tank.. if you have city water, where do the switch need to be pointed? we continue to use the tanks and water pump because we can't seem to get the city "side" to work.. I guess if this is the only issue we have we aren't doing to bad.. TIA for not laughing at us..

If your Anderson Water Selector valve system is like ours, and I think it is, you turn the handle to CITY WATER(facing RIGHT). It's usually also best to turn the handle when there is no city water pressure yet(before you turn on the spigot).
All this is considering you are connecting a water hose from the water inlet(next to the Anderson valve handle) and out to a water spigot.

Thanks everyone for the welcome. I haven't responded because our rig has been back to the dealer for warranty issues, maiden trip and the front screen stopped working, and a few other issues.. I'll certainly try this suggestions regarding the water value..

I've noticed that when electronics or most anything with a circuit fail, all I do is shut the coach down at the battery disconnect and turn it back on everything is restored. My bluetooth enabled cameras do not like bumpy roads......it doesn't happen often but thats my solution.

You definitely want to follow that little bit of advice.

For those who have a VEGAS\AXIS is there a water "switch"

I never thought about it until I read this thread. Is there a water diverter selector (between city and onboard tank) on a AXIS/VEGAS.

That is something I didn't get covered in the PDI

Nope, no selector just plug in city water and turn it on--heck you can even leave the water pump on (when the system is above the pressure switch the pump will switch off thus if the city water pressure is always above that pressure the pump won't ever run).
