New Windsport 35M reversed hot and cold water

Spent the weekend at dealer and verified hot water worked along with everything else before signing papers, but got home before realizing the entire hot and cold water systems are reversed. Returning to dealer is problematic so figured someone here might know where to start finding the cross-over.

First the troubleshooting: All three basin faucets are reversed as well as shower faucets and both toilets flush hot water. Not sure yet if clothes washer is reverse connected but will assume it is also.

Best guess for likely junction is water heater but of course that is tightly packed in bedroom under vanity drawers.

Anyone have experience figuring out where hot and cold water systems get reversed on this model RV?

Also, there is no water input to ice maker in Whirlpool residential refrigerator and I have not yet dismantled enough to figure that out either. Sigh

Thanks,
Mike and Cate McHop

If you have a water control panel with the two rotary valves, check that the hoses for the hot water side are attached to the red feed lines and the cold/supply is connected to blue. Could be as simple as two lines turned around backward.

We had the same problem with our 29M which we discovered on our maiden voyage. It caused a challenge for my wife to use the toilet. On the 29M they switched the lines under the kitchen sink that comes from the hot water heater. One was mislabeled.

We do not have a water control panel, things could never be that simple We do have, on driver side midships aft, the stacked washer and dryer, a narrow space, then the water heater. That is also where the city water connection is, between the water heater and the washer/dryer. The switch in plumbing is likely at the water heater or behind the washer/dryer. Of course, either of those is going to be quite a process to get behind.

In my 2017 Hurricane 35M it is not too difficult to access the back of the water heater (once you remove the panel underneath the ledge below the window). With regard to the ice maker, there is a water shutoff valve for the ice maker water line behind the removable panel below the refrigerator. I suspect that the water valve is turned off. Hope this helps.
