No 12volt power

My 12 Volt System on my 2018 ACE 29.4 is dead. No rngine no generator. All the batteries can't be dead. Is there a master 12v breaker somewhere?

House batteries power the house loads like lights, fans, refrigerators, etc. They are also used to start the generator. House batteries are disconnected from the loads by a USE/STORE switch, but even in STORE there will still be some loads on the batteries like propane & CO detectors.

Chassis battery starts the main engine just like in a car and has no normal disconnect. It is usually good for weeks if not months when the MH is not connected to external power.

So what works and what doesn't?

Is your MH plugged into 120 VAC power?

How long since things last worked?

Must be a bad wind blowing somewhere. I had a good taste of a 12 volt problem in early Feb. Not sure about the charging system on your coach but I've attached a wiring diagram for our Challenger. Use a multimeter to test your system at various fused spots. i'd also give Thor technical support and asked them the same question. Most times they have some great insights.

There is a 50 amp breaker in the house battery box. In the Axis it is in the back left hand corner of the battery box when looking at the box from outside the coach. If a red or yellow lever is showing, push it back in. This disconnects the House batteries from the coach. There is another, similar breaker in the engine compartment for the engine battery. However, in the Axis/Vegas, if you run the generator, you get some 12v power to the coach thru the transfer switch. So if you have no 12v power to the coach (lights) when the generator or shore power is in use, you may have additional problems.

Do you have Ed Felker’s excellent manual for the Axis/Vegas? I think the systems in the Axis are probably much closer to the Ace than the Challanger. Link to the manual is above. Lots of info on electrical systems and issues.

Nothing works. Coach battery is as if dead and there is no 12V power to the House, Additionally , Generator will not turn. I guess it is connected to the chassis or house.

Then I will assume it has not been connected to shore power long enough to drain all the batteries. Put a battery charger on it or jump start the engine to start the charging process. Once the engine is running use the emergency start switch to start the generator and get the converter charging batteries.

Ill add a simple maintenance advise. Check the water level in the batteries. Mine was very low when i picked up my mh.

If they are low they will not hold a charge.

Follow the others advise about jump starting. Goid luck
