Signal Flasher Location
Having a problem with our turning signals not working. I checked all the fuses and relays -all seem to be good. So kinda narrowed the issue down to the flasher. I found the 4 way flasher but cannot locate the signal flasher.
As shown in our signature - we have a 2015 Thor Challenger 37TB (V10 engine). Anyone have an idea where the signal flasher is located?
Thanks

I don't know specifically where your signal flasher is located but when looking at the picture of replacements it shows a mounting bracket with a screw hole.......so I would first look for it to be mounted under the dash near your steering column somewhere. Getting under the drivers side dash should be good exercise for a sore back......or perhaps just creates a sore back instead.

Yep - that is the actual flasher. I found the one for the hazard flasher, just cannot locate the for the signals.

I stumbled on the attached Ford signal schematic but I am not certain this is for F53 chassis, but it came from another RV forum.....and it shows the three terminal flasher being used for both signals and four way flashers. So if this does apply then maybe our coaches only use the one flasher that you have already found? If true then there may be some other issue in your situation.

Attached are the diagrams for my 2013-14 F53, I would think your 15 is very close or the same.

tursignal
I lost my turn signals, then found other functions off. I had accidentally tripped the main breaker that was behind grill on pass side when I checked battery connections. It has a "flag " that hung down when tripped. This was on an Axis, Breaker in front of battery.

Good news is got the problem fixed! Only bad news - getting specific info on fuses and relays is difficult! BUT even better news, I think I finally found specific fuse layouts that are identical to our Challenger. Lots of other info out there that is specific, just not specific to coach. Here is a link to what I found on the fuses/relay panel. Hope it helps someone else like it did me!!

So.......can we assume your trouble was actually a blown fuse then?

Nope - that was an affect but not root cause. P

Some additional follow up. As I continued troubleshooting the problem, I found a loose wire in the trailer light connection. It was causing an intermittent short (blowing the fuse and even the relay). I guess the good news was that I kept looking for flasher I made the discover. Good news is that we now have working lights!!
