My guess is the power just hadn't been switched to the generator yet by the Automatic Transfer Switch. In my Miramar it takes about 90 seconds for it to switch over before the AC and microwave will work.

It takes a minute or so for my Microwave , Tv etc to turn on with the generator also
Hopefully it's just the blue LED that's out ( wishful thinking)

That is a function of the generator: It doesn't enable power until its running and is stable (there is a description of this in the owner's manual).

I suspect the inverter is under the bed. That's where most Hurricanes have their inverter. It should be just behind the power center (WF-8955). If any one of the three TVs has power from the inverter, then the inverter is ok and it a wiring or TV problem. Check the duplex receptacle behind the TV with a circuit tester to make sure you have power first.

Got power - blue coach power input light out?

Hi folks - I'm running through a good home 30 amp connection ... Through a power surge protector with read out. Coach AC etc. Runs fine ... Power draw is normal. However blue LED on power input plug quit working after washing rv. Anyone had to change one of these led bulbs? Do not see any fuses tripped or blown. Thanks

I think you have to change out the plug.

Our LED has been out for a couple of seasons now..still powers the coach though.

Yep; great idea to put the LED there, poor implementation by the manufacturer. Our LED lasted less than 6 months.

Thanks guys. ... Could take all I know about RV electrical systems and put it on postage stamp with space left over. Is that an "easy" plug change out?

Man this seems like an over engineering problem. More motors and lights more problems. The juice isn’t worth the squeeze IMHO

You're probably right lazinskm ... however, I notice FURRION advertises a "5 year warranty" on their "stuff" on their site. I was hoping maybe to just unscrew the 2 screws that appear to hold the cap in place and replace just the cap without having to dismantle and replace / reconnect the unit etc. But could just as easily ignore it since the Surge protector display shows the RV power draw.

Dumb question here...

Could this have something to do with the "Use/Store" switch?

Classictint, are you at home or are you at a camp ground? Also, why would you change out to a smaller extension and is this your power cable? I am missing something here.

I don't...

Still haven't gotten around to installing a new one.
Good luck with your hunt.
Just had and fixed the same issue. We had issues last year where the plug would work and then stop working. Thought it was the cord. Hooked it up to shore power today and nothing! Unscrewed the male plug from the coach, the hot was really loose, tightened them all and we are working.

One thing I did notice was the wood under the plug was wet (had been raining earlier). I will seal it with poly once it dries.

Thanks again for the tip.

The blue light is a great indicator feature that tells you, you have shore power...in case you need to check the pedestal breaker for being off or tripped while your outside.
It does not illuminate on generator power because the transfer switch routes the generator output to your Motorhome, not down the street to the other folks. Mine stopped during the first year. I called Furrion and asked about it. They shipped me a new inlet plug free of charge.($75 or so) The blue light itself is not field replaceable they said. 2 or 3 mounting screws and the inlet comes out in your hand. 3 screws on the backside connect the wiring. Be sure you get the wire colors back the same way they came off.
Welcome to the club. Lots of nice info here and lots of nice folks who were "new to it all" at one time too!
