Generator and no power to the coach

Just bought our Thor Vegas25.2 yesterday. This morning ran the AC, turned on the water heater and then coffee pot. We lost all power. Have checked the breakers. Generator runs fine but not not producing power to the coach. Any ideas? We think it there maybe a reset button but have been unable to find one.

Do you get power when plugged in?

I think there are breakers right on the generator. Did you open the generator hatch and look there?
Hmm found this manual when looking around (I don't think it helps you but its a good overview of Onan generators):
http://www.cumminsonan.com/www/pdf/rv/f-1123.pdf

(You have to register with Cummins to pull back your owner's manual because they will want your serial number:
https://quickserve.cummins.com/info/index.html)

If you remove the cold air vent you'll find a black box with the 120V wires going to it. This is the automatic switch that switches between generator and shore power--it looks like this:

Perhaps yours is also just hanging there and one of the wires pulled out?

You most likely overloaded the generator. Assuming you have an Onan 4000 Generator, there is a circuit breaker inside the unit.

Pull off the front cover and look at the main panel. The circuit breaker should be around the corner to the right of the main panel.

You should be able to find a drawing of the location in your generator's owner's manual.
