Overhead bunk falling down

Got to the campground Friday evening and this is what I had to deal with.

The passenger side locking pin had come out and the overhead bunk started to fall down .

Fix: Took drivers side pin out, lowered overhead bunk to lowest position and while hearing much grinding, it leveled itself out. Rose it up and replaced both pins.

Plan: Never use this overhead bunk again and check pins are in prior to every travel.

I had a similar experience with the overhead bunk. We use it every trip as its my sons bed. After the first incident where the motors got out of sync, Schwintec has a video full of tips on how to keep the motors in sync. I was concerned that I caused damage to the motors. I also include in my pre-drive checklist to be sure both pins are in before traveling.
