Power Awning Sensitivity

I have a 2015 Tuscany. The main power awning retracts at the slightest breeze. I had an old Winnebago Adventurer with a power awning, and it had a sensitivity setting to allow for somewhat stronger breezes before it would retract. Is there such a feature on my Tuscany? I find no mention of it in any documentation. Thanks.

I have 2015 Hurricane with the new awning (without side arms) and it has an auto retract feature for wind. I must say it does retract but not with a little breeze - has to be blowing a little bit. I actually like this feature as we can go away from the camp with peace of mind - happened in myrtle beach this summer when an unexpected storm blew in.

Apparently there is a setting. On another website it was mentioned that the Thor service center adjusted the sensitivity. They didn't say how or where the adjustment was made.

I know there is a setting also for the angle it goes out at.

Perhaps you should contact Carefree and ask them. If anyone should know, they should.

Check the Carefree of Colorado we bite. There is a plethora of instruction sheets. I'm sure they would have setting on your model that explains adjusting the sensitivity.
